Site Compliance with the European Union Cookie Law

In recent years, various EU (European Union) Member States have passed laws which require website owners to inform their visitors of cookies placed by the website, and receive their consent to use certain types of cookies.

If you are operating within the EU or are otherwise subject to any EU states' laws, you may be also subject to such cookie-related requirements.

As the specific requirements regarding cookies may vary from state to state, in accordance with its local laws and data protection authority's views, it is important that you verify which requirements specifically apply to your website, and make sure that you fully comply with them.

There are two types of cookies (both used on Wix sites):

Session (Transient) cookies: these cookies are erased when you close your browser, and do not collect information from your computer. They typically store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify the user.

Persistent (Permanent/Stored) cookies: these cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire (i.e based on a set expiration date) or until you delete them. These cookies are used to collect identifying information about the user, such as Web surfing behavior or user preferences for a specific site.
