| What can I say? I love books! Here's a list of some of my favorite authors. Click on their names to visit their websites. Paranormal Authors I Love: JR Ward Gotta love the Black Dagger Brotherhood Shelly Laurenston I just recently ran across her books, but I fell in love within the first chapter of Mane Event. I love her take on shifters, and her characters are wonderful! Sherri L. King I really enjoy her Sterling Files and Shikar series. Lora Leigh Her Breed books are incredible! Annmarie McKenna I have yet to be disappointed in an Annmarie McKenna story, and I don't think you will be, either! She writes paranormal, contemporary, M/M... I think the only things she hasn't done are historical and sci/fi. Mary Janice Davidson Nothing makes me giggle more than reading an MJD book! Her Windham Werewolf series is re-re-re-read for me! Christine Feehan Nothing makes me hotter than an alpha male claiming his mate, and very few people write that better than Christine Feehan. My favorite series by her is the Carpathians, starting with Dark Prince. Lauren Dane I adore the Chase brothers! And the Cascadia Wolves are a must-buy. She writes paranormal and contemporary. Maya Banks Hot men, hotter love stories. She's one of the few authors capable of making me shed a tear, and she does it every damn time. Beth Williamson Man, I love me some cowboys, and she delivers... Lori Foster I tried to think of a book that she's written that I haven't liked and can't come up with a single one. Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick She does it all, and she does it well. On of the few "sweet" romance writers I read. M/M Authors I Love: TA Chase One of the M/M authors I enjoy reading, TA does cowboys, paranormal, science fiction... you name it, and he does it well. JL Langley Can you say cowboys, regency heroes in space, and shifters? I haven't read anything by JL I've disliked! Ally Blue Bay City Paranormal Investigations series, Untamed Heart, Fireflies... need I say more? Amanda Young, She delivers not only M/M, but menage, paranormal, normal... very versatile, very good reads. Mychael Black So far, my favorite has got to be Realms of Fantasy. Willa Okati, Straight Man and Coffee Guy? Liam and the Brotherhood? Or how about... anything? Carol Lynne Campus Cravings, Cattle Valley, fabulous brits... yum. Ethan Day The man made me giggle, made me tear up, and I rooted for the good guy... and he does it in first person narrative, which I usually don't like. Rowan McBride If you haven't read Lone yet, run, do not walk, to pick it up. Then get the rest of his stuff! Non-Romance Authors I Love: Steve Miller and Sharon Lee There's nothing quite like Liad for those of you into Sci Fi with a touch of romance (see, honey! I don't read ONLY romances! I read stuff WITH romance, but not JUST romance!) Just remember to guard your melan'ti! Terry Pratchett Terry Pratchett is one of my favorite fantasy authors. If you've never read a novel of the Discworld you're missing out on an awful lot of fun. |
